Yet another picture of an actual piece of art. I'd eat a baby for a scanner.
This was done in pen and then inked with india ink. In the middle where the black appears...not so black is where the flash reflected off of the ink, which I thought was pretty matte, but appeared to be wrong about. I really like this drawing. I'm not so hot about the border though. The figure of the girl is kind of screwy. She's twisting at the waist...the stripes of the sweater dont describe this movement very well. I also inked this on a piece of paper in my sketch pad. Bad idea. It curled up and I should redo it on something heavier. They dont actually have hands because I'm lazy and cool like that. My z key likes to stick. End description! |
